Liz Lochhead helps New Award for New Writing won by Fiona Rintoul

Many thanks to Liz Lochhead who came on board to help the Trust set up the Gillian Purvis Award for New Writing. Announced at the end of May, Fiona Rintoul, MLitt student from University of Glasgow is the first winner of the 1,500 pounds award to help her finish her first novel.

Scott Ramsay Kyle, the Trust's first Award-winner has been nominated for a Scottish Fashion Award 2008 in the category of Scottish Young Designer of the Year.
